Female foreigner arrested for attacking car park attendant at Airport
"The foreigner parked her vehicle on the Pedestrian crossing at the Terminal 3 departure frontage and refused to move when asked to do so."
A female foreigner has been arrested by police at the Kotoka International Airport (KIA), following a circulated video that showed her chasing after a car park attendant with a metal object.
According to a statement dated July 14, 2022, by the management of the Ghana Airport Company Limited, the foreigner parked her vehicle on the Pedestrian Crossing at the Terminal 3 departure frontage and refused to move when asked to do so.
“Consequently, the vehicle was clamped. In a fit of rage, she got down from the vehicle, removed the clamp, and threw it at the Car Park Attendant, injuring him in the process.
She was subsequently arrested by Police Personnel deployed at the Airport and handed over to the Airport Police Station,” the statement said.
