Agradaa arrested over money-doubling scam
Her arrest comes days after hundreds thronged her Heaven Way Church in Weija in hopes of doubling money they presented to her.
Fetish priestess turned pastor, Patricia Asiedua, popularly known as Agradaa has been arrested by the police over allegations of her involvement in a money-doubling scam.
Her arrest comes days after hundreds thronged her Heaven Way Church in Weija in hopes of doubling money they presented to her.
According to reports Agradaa is said to have earlier promised on TV to give away GH¢300,000 to her congregation with the guarantee of doubling any amount of money an individual offers her.
She is later said to have shut her church doors and absconded, after taking monies from various individuals.
“The suspect is currently assisting police investigation. Anyone who is a victim of the alleged money doubling scam should report to the Accra Regional Police Command for further action to assist the investigation,” the police said on their official social media handles.
