The Member of Parliament for North Tongu, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has served notice of his side’s investigation of a suspected impersonation of Sarah Adwoa Safo in Parliament yesterday.

He indicates that a review of a video footage yesterday during the approval of the 2022 Budget by the Majority side, shows a suspected impersonation of the Member of Parliament for Dome-Kwabenya, Adwoa Safo.

Speaking on Joy FM today, Hon. Ablakwa noted that; “Following pictures and videos we are reviewing this morning it is becoming quite apparent to us that there may be a case of impersonation.”

“We are reviewing footage and we have spoken to some of your colleagues in the media who were not even allowed to come close to that person to interview her,” he noted.

He further indicated that the Minority side is taking a serious view of the occurrence which may be a basis of an enquiry.

“So, whoever that person is, we will get to the bottom of it. We are taking a very serious view of that and I am sure that there will be the basis of some inquiry moving forward”.
