Two Men Arrested in Connection with Murder of US National in Ghana

The Ghana Police Service has confirmed the arrest of two men allegedly implicated in the murder of Naomi Jehubiyah, a US national, in Nyinasen near Cape Coast in the Central Region. The arrests were made on April 19 at Assin Praso, where Wisdom Sete, a Togolese national reported to be Jehubiyah's fiancé, and Yussif Afrim, were taken into custody.

The police statement highlighted that preliminary investigations indicated that Sete allegedly conspired with Afrim to commit the murder. The motive behind the killing remains under investigation, and the police have not yet released further details on the nature of the conspiracy.

Following their arrest, the suspects are being held for further questioning as authorities seek to uncover more about the circumstances surrounding Jehubiyah's death. The victim's remains have been transported to the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital, where an autopsy will be conducted to ascertain the exact cause of death.

In addition to securing the arrest of the suspects, law enforcement officials have also recovered two vehicles belonging to the deceased. These vehicles are currently being examined as part of the ongoing investigation.

This case has drawn significant attention, both locally and internationally, due to the victim's nationality and the brutal nature of the crime.
