Suspected robber shot, arrested for attempting to escape in Kibi

The Eastern Regional Police command has today, June 25, 2021, arrested a suspected robber from his hide-out at Kibi Zongo.

The suspect, Musa Kamara, 26 years of age was on the wanted list of the Police.

He was however arrested when he tried to escape but was shot in the left knee in the process which gave the police an urge to over-power him and finally arrested him.

The Regional Police command is meanwhile urging the general public to continue to support their work with credible information to ensure e safety of the communities and promised to ensure the safety of informants.

“The Police continue to urge the public to support our work of ensuring the safety of communities with credible information. Informants are assured of the strictest confidentiality,” they indicated.
