Suspected fake currency dealers arrested in Dansoman

Police have arrested five persons suspected of being fake currency dealers in Dansoman, Accra.
The suspects, Akwasi Boateng alias “Honourable”, Michael Marfo Ohene alias “Ghost”, Bismarck Tawiah, Richard Walker, and Prince Nketiah were picked with bundles of fake currency including dollars, CFA, and Ghana Cedis.
They were picked up by the police on 29th June 2021. The police also recovered a pistol and an ice chest mixed with powder from their hotel room in Dansoman.
Investigations are currently ongoing on this case.
