Sunyani: Police mount search for suspects who attacked Nsoatreman FC coach, Mr. Maxwell Konadu
According to reports, Mr. Konadu was beaten by some fans of Bofoakwa Tano FC, the opposing team, resulting in severe injuries.
The Ghana Police says it's on a manhunt for two suspects who attacked the coach of Nsoatreman FC, Mr. Maxwell Konadu after yesterday's Premier League game at the Sunyani Coronation Park.
According to reports, Mr. Konadu was beaten by some fans of Bofoakwa Tano FC, the opposing team, resulting in severe injuries.
“The coach who sustained a head injury during the attack is currently receiving medical attention. We wish to assure the public that we will surely get the suspects arrested to face justice,” the police statement added.
In the aftermath of the events, the Ghana Football Association has placed a temporal ban on Bofoakwa Tano FC from utilizing the Sunyani Coronation Park as its home venue.
