Rev Owusu Bempah, three others trial adjourned sine die
Rev. Bempah was arrested after a video of him and his church members threatening to kill a fetish priest turned Evangelist; Patricia Oduro Koranteng popularly called Nana Agradaa, went viral.
The Accra High Court hearing the case of Rev Owusu Bempah and three others accused of assaulting police officers and offensive conduct has adjourned the matter indefinitely.
The presiding judge, Mrs. Rosemary Baah Torsu, adjourned the case since a duplicate docket had been forwarded to the Attorney-General’s office for advice.
The substantive prosecutor, Chief Inspector Dennis Terkpetey was however absent in court, and no police officer held his brief.

He and his accomplices were also said to have assaulted police officers who were deployed to invite the pastor to assist police investigations on the said allegations.
The pastor, together with Michael Boateng, Frederick Ohene, and Nathaniel Agyekum, have been charged with offensive conduct to the breaches of peace. They have been also charged with the threat of death and assault on public officers.
On September 20, 2021, an Accra High Court granted them GH¢200,000 bail with two sureties.
The case has since suffered many adjournments.
