Prof. Justice Date-Bah to receive UPSA Law Lifetime Achievement Award

A retired Justice of the Supreme Court of Ghana, Professor Samuel Date-Bah is set to be honored at the maiden Lifetime Achievement Award on August 31, 2023, at the Labadi Beach Hotel in Accra.
The award is being organized by the UPSA Law School in partnership with Bentsi-Enchill, Letsa and Ankoma(BELA),and the Ghana Bar Association.
The event which will be ably spearheaded by the Chief Justice of the Republic, Justice Gertrude Torkornoo is to celebrate the legal luminary’s life and works.
About the Award
Instituted to honor outstanding personalities who have contributed in diverse but immense ways to the development of the rule of law, jurisprudence, and legal philosophy, the legal academy and education, the UPSA Law School Lifetime Achievement is dedicated to celebrating path-breaking efforts of recipients towards Ghanaian law.
The award especially seeks to acknowledge and highlight the contributions of distinguished personalities towards national development through the law and particularly prioritizes the use of the law as an instrument and /or good governance.
