Police on manhunt for lone robber operating in parts of Accra

The Ghana Police says it's on a manhunt for a robber alleged to have robbed multiple homes in the wealthy suburbs of Ghana’s capital, Accra.
According to reports, the robber, a young man believed to be in his 30s pretends to have accomplices who had taken cover in the compound of the home he is robbing, so as to frighten his victims. Checks however prove that at best, he has a getaway motor rider on standby to assist with his operations.
In a statement, following CCTV footage of the lone robber circulating on social media, the police say the incident is a matter already under investigation.
"Police intelligence teams have been working on the matter for some time now to get the suspect arrested to face justice; and we will surely get him," the statement added.
