Police invites Abronye DC over coup allegations
Mr. Baffoe is reported to have said on Hot FM’s ‘Dwene Ho Bio’ show that the former President had met with Al Qaeda militants to stage a coup in Ghana.
The Accra Regional Police Command has invited the Bono New Patriotic Party Chairman, Kwame Baffoe, popularly known as Abronye DC to assist in investigations over comments he made that former President John Dramani Mahama is planning to stage a coup.
Mr. Baffoe is reported to have said on Hot FM’s ‘Dwene Ho Bio’ show that the former President had met with Al Qaeda militants to stage a coup in Ghana.
He has been asked to report to the Regional Headquarters at 4 pm, today, February 15, 2022, the police said in a statement.
The police however warned that his failure to honour the invitation would lead to his arrest.
“The public will be updated in due course,” it said.
