Police arrest man for attempting to use 11 yr old daughter for ritual

Police have arrested a 42-year-old businessman, Evans Oppong who is a resident of Fise near Amasaman for allegedly taking his 11-year-old daughter to a native priest at Oyibi Kom in Accra, for ritual purposes on Thursday, June 2, 2022.
According to a statement by the Ghana Police Service, this arrest was facilitated by information provided by a patriotic citizen.
It notes that the victim is currently in the safe custody of the police while efforts are being made to reunite her with her mother and the rest of the family.
For the suspect, the police indicate he is in their custody, assisting with the investigation.
