Police in the Walewale District has arrested two suspects in connection with a robbery on a mobile money shop at Nasia, near Walewale.

The two have been identified as Wahab Yakubu, 28, and Fuseini Yakubu, 25. They were nabbed by the police on Wednesday, July 28, 2021.

Information from the police indicates that the suspects, together with two other persons attacked the mobile money vendor at his shop, at gunpoint. They made away with an amount of GHS25,000 before escaping via an unregistered motorbike. The two other persons are currently at large.

Meanwhile, the police have placed a GHS2000 bounty on the heads of the other two suspects. The suspects in custody are currently being processed for court.
