NLA to clamp down on unlicensed lotto operators beginning today

The National Lottery Authority (NLA), says beginning today, November 1, 2021, it would undertake an exercise, together with security personnel to arrest and prosecute all unlicensed lotto operators.
This is according to a press statement from the lottery agency.
“Effective Ist November 2021, NLA in collaboration with the security services will undertake exercises to arrest and prosecute all unlicensed lotto operators,” the statement said.
According to the lottery agency, the action follows a completion of a licensing regime of all Operators of Private Lotto (OPL) for the 2021/2022 licensing year.
