The Chief Justice of the Republic, Her Ladyship Justice Gertrude Torkornoo, has directed all parties and lawyers to produce their Ghana cards to obtain court orders and judgments.

She notes that this order should be replicated in all kinds of cases, as is done in probate cases.

In a circular signed by the Judicial Secretary, Justice Pamela Koranteng, the Chief Justice has further directed court registrars to prepare proper handing over notes in addition to official documents, stamps, and seals to successors upon transfer.

Further, the Chief Justice, per the statement, has urged that registrars should not only reject documents brought for authentication but be detected to be forgeries.

According to her, such occurrences should be reported to the police for further investigation and to find the source of the forgeries.
