Greater Accra Bar Association appeals for funds in support of Volta flood victims

The Greater Accra Regional Branch of the Ghana Bar Association is calling on all members to support in cash and kind, its quest to support victims of the Akosombo Dam spillage in the Volta Regions of Ghana.

It notes that this is in aid of a clarion call from its National Office and encouragement from well-meaning members to support those individuals and families who find themselves in this state of hopelessness through no fault of theirs.

In a statement signed by Aurelius Awuku, the Association is thus calling on all to make cash donations to Mobile money Number 0595 656-887( Name: Hellen Peace Medekukunawo, Administrative Secretary of the Greater Accra GBA) and referenced DSVSF.

Alternatively, members who wish to donate in kind can also contact the Administrative Secretary for the Region on the same number.

The Regional Bar Association further indicates that all the funds and relief items procured will be delivered to the victims through NADMO thus calling on all members to respond to this call with a great sense of humanity and kindness.
