Funny Face remanded into police custody after Kasoa incident

Popular comedian and actor Benson Nana Yaw Oduro who is widely known as Funny Face, has been remanded into police custody by the Kasoa Akweley District Court following Sunday's accident.
The incident occurred when Funny Face knocked down five persons at the Kasoa Kakraba junction - hitting a mother with two children and two motorriders according to reports.
Charged with drunk driving and careless driving, Funny Face appeared before the court on Tuesday, March 26. He is set to spend two weeks in police custody awaiting his next court appearance.
The accident left one victim in a coma while the others are receiving medical treatment at the Winneba Trauma Centre.
