Dreams FC coach slapped with GHC2,000 fine and a match ban

Coach Viric pleaded guilty in a written statement to charges leveled against him by the Ghana Football Association

The Head Coach of a Ghana Premier League club, Dreams FC has been slapped with a fine of GHC2,000 and a one-match ban by the Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana Football Association(GFA).

Vladislav Viric, the Dreams FC coach, according to the Committee, made comments that sought to bring the entire Ghana league into disrepute.

After a league match between Asante Kotoko SC and Dreams FC at Obuasi Len Clay Stadium, he said in a post-match interview that Asante Kotoko SC called some people who were in black to help and better the game for them.

Coach Viric afterward, pleaded guilty in a written statement to charges leveled against him by the Ghana Football Association(GFA).

His punishment is per Articles 34.9 and 6.1 of the GFA Premier League Regulations and GFA Disciplinary Code 3 respectively.

The Disciplinary Committee has in addition to the punishment, asked the coach to apologize publicly to the referees and the entire Football Association within three days.
