Court remands suspected Kaaka killers to police custody

A district court in Asokwa has remanded three suspects arrested in connection with the death of Ibrahim Muhammed, alias Kaaka into police custody.

A district court in Asokwa has remanded three suspects arrested in connection with the death of Ibrahim Muhammed, alias Kaaka into police custody.

The court presided over by Her Worship Akua Adu Boahene has indicated that the suspects are to reappear on July 22, 2021.

The suspects have been slapped with two charges; conspiracy to commit crime and murder.

The prosecutor of the case, Chief Supt. Kofi Blagodzi prayed the court to remand the suspects into police custody while thorough investigations continued into the case.

Meanwhile, a three-member committee has been constituted to publicly probe the death of Kaaka and related deaths of two other persons who are believed to have been shot by some soldiers during a community protest against Kaaka’s death.
