An Accra High Court on Tuesday dismissed the case by Deborah Seyram Adablah, ex-national service personnel, who sued her former boss and boyfriend, Mr. Ernest Nimako.

Adablah sued Nimako, a former Chief Finance Officer (CFO) of First Atlantic Bank in January, alleging the plaintiff's failure to uphold certain promises he made to her, maltreatment, exploitation, and deception in the course of their parlor relationship.

However, a  judgment by the court yesterday said although the relationship between the two was not in conformity to society's values, there was no reasonable cause of action arising from the writ filed by Adablah.

It further held that the court should not be invited to give judicial stamps to issues of this kind since the foundation of their relationship is an act against public policy.

“You cannot recover the price of something you have committed into an immoral act,” Justice John Bosco Nabarese who presided over the case said.

Cost of GH¢10, 000 was awarded against Adablah.
