Commercial Law in Ghana: Sourcebook to be launched Feb 3

A book on commercial law in Ghana written by Lawyer Clement Akapame and Lawyer Lom Nuku Ahlijah will be launched tomorrow, February 3, 2022, at the GIMPA Law Faculty in Accra.

The book according to the authors, seeks to highlight Ghanaian case law and explain how it could be used in commercial law practice.

Titled ‘Commercial Law in Ghana: Sourcebook, it covers areas on sale of goods, hire purchase, banking, and there are special chapters for practitioners on commercial litigation and arbitration.

The expectation is that, Commercial Law in Ghana: Sourcebook, will provide the kind of Ghanaian literature that will remain relevant to both students and law practitioners.

“The reason was to provide homegrown Ghanaian literature for both students and practitioners,”co-author, Lawyer Clement Akapame and also a lecturer on commercial law at the GIMPA Law Faculty said in an interview with Dennislaw News ahead of the launch.

Both authors are also partners at Taylor Crabbe Barristers and Solicitors, and Integri Solicitors and Advocates.
