A Circuit Court in Accra has dismissed an application that sought the court’s intervention to order the facility’s management to reopen the Fantasy Dome at the Accra International Conference Centre.

The facility manager and fourth accused person in the Christ Embassy’s ‘Pneumatica Night’ case, Edmond Dapaah filed the application on July 1, through his lawyers.

Mr. Dapaah argued in court that the Dome, which was closed in April this year, is a recording studio and a source of livelihood for many thus prayed the court to order its reopening.

However, the Court presided by Her Honour Ellen Offei Aryeh ruled that the said facility was locked up by the Police service thereby required the presence of the Inspector General of Police in such an application.

Therefore the application was struck out by the Court.

The Court furthermore ordered the prosecution in the matter to file their witness statements on or before August 18 and duly serve the accused persons before the next sitting.

The hearing was therefore adjourned to August 27, 2021, for Case Management Conference.
