Captain Smart admitted to GHȻ 100,000 bail

Host of the Onua TV Morning show, Blessed Godsbrain Smart, popularly known as “Captain Smart” has been granted bail in the sum of Hundred Thousand Ghana Cedis (GH₵ 100,000.00) with one surety to be justified after he pleaded not guilty.
The Police yesterday, Thursday, December 9, 2021, arraigned Captain Smart at Circuit Court 7 and was charged with offensive conduct conducive to the breach of the peace under Section 207 of the Criminal Offences Act 1960 (Act 29).
Captain Smart was arrested by The Nima Police Command on December 2, 2021, for alleged “unsavoury pronouncements that hinge on peace and security.”
The case has been adjourned to January 11, 2022.
He is meanwhile expected to report to the Police every Tuesday and Friday.
