Bono East: GIS repatriates 358 irregular migrants

The Ghana Immigration Service has repatriated 358 irregular migrants, Enoch Abrokwa, the Bono East Regional Commander has confirmed.

According to the Regional Commander, the migrants were from Nigeria, Togo, Burkina Faso, and Niger.

“The preparation was conducted successfully through the hard work of personnel of the Command and other supporting security agencies, ” he said.

The Regional Commander additionally noted the worrying dangers associated with irregular migration.

“If anybody wants to travel outside they must acquire relevant travelling documents,” he stated.
