The Ashaiman District Court has indicated that it will not countenance delay on the part of the prosecution per its constant seeking for an adjournment in the case against convener for #FixThe Country Movement, Oliver Barker Vormawor.

Oliver has been charged with Treason Felony after he was arrested on February 11, 2022, at the Kotoka International Airport upon his return to Ghana from the United Kingdom.

The Court, presided over by Mrs. Eleanor Kakra Barnes-Botchwey expressed concern and noted she might be compelled to take any action if the prosecution continues to drag its feet in the matter.

This followed a request by the prosecutor on Tuesday, March 29, 2022, for an adjournment to enable them to put their house in order.

Additionally, the court indicated that it had not been presented with Mr. Vormawor’s bill of indictment.

The case has meanwhile been adjourned to April 26, 2022, by which it hoped that all matters would have been addressed.
