Axim: Missing pregnant woman returns without pregnancy

The nine-month-old pregnant woman, Josephne Panyin Mensah who was reported missing last week has been found in Axim.

Josephine is reported to have left home on Thursday, September 16 for a walk in Takoradi at dawn but did not return.

Subsequently, her photos were circulated on social media with several appeals from the public to help find her.

Her brother-in-law, Emmanuel Arkoh disclosed that she was unable to speak when she was found. She also did not show any signs of her pregnancy.

However, Josephine recounted in writing that she delivered on the day she went missing but had been kidnapped.

Meanwhile, Josephine is currently receiving medical care at the Axim government hospital.
