The African Bar Association has fixed August 7th to 11th, 2022 to hold its annual Bar conference at the Bingu International Conference Center in Malawi.

The theme for this year’s conference is “Instituting an enduring Legacy of Transparent and Accountable Governance in Africa: Basic Issues and Road Map.”

Focus of Conference
“One of the key challenges to African development is the accountability of its Leaders and Citizens even as expectations and clamour for the transformation of the Continent increases, the quest to hold African Leaders and Citizens accountable also increases. “In the light of these, the 2022 Annual Conference of the AfricanBar Association will seek to discuss the issues arising from and connected with accountability in Africa as a prelude to developing a clear road map for improvement, institution stability, and creating strong institutions.”
