A/R: 14-year-old girl murdered in Bodomase
The body has however been deposited at the morgue for preservation and autopsy.
Police in the Ashanti Region have retrieved the body of a 14-year-old girl at the outskirt of Bodomase in the Sekyere-Kumawu District of the Ashanti Region. The deceased has been identified as Linda Pokuaa.
Police say they have picked up two persons in connection with the case, amid suspicions of foul play, having recovered a note at the crime scene.
The body of the deceased was picked up over the weekend. She had sustained bruises on her neck and blood oozed from her nose. Her clothes were also blood-stained.
The District Police Commander of Sekyere-Kumawu who spoke to Accra-based Citi News, DSP Opoku Agyemang Prempeh indicated that the police received information of a dead body found along the road.
“My men went there and did what was expected. There was a note at the scene, so we suspect a murder case and not a natural death”
