‘Jesus Ahuofe’ arrested over Shatta Wale death prophecy

Police have arrested a certain Bishop Stephen Kwesi Appiah, popularly known as Jesus Ahuofe of the New Life Kingdom Chapel.
He has been picked up in connection to a prophecy he made that popular musician, Shatta Wale would be shot on October 18, 2021.
Reports were rife on Monday, October 18, 2021 that the singer had been shot by unknown gunmen like the Pastor had predicted.
However, Shatta Wale apologized on social media that the entire report was a ruse and drew attention to the lack of protection he received from the police after the prophecy was uttered.
The dancehall artist admitted to taking the phones of some members of his team to make the fake post.
However, a news report by Accra-based Citi News indicates that the said Bishop Kwesi Appiah is currently at the Accra Regional Police Command for interrogation.
Meanwhile, the police is urging the public to volunteer information on the whereabouts of the singer.
