‘Drifting’ Mercedes Benz driver to appear before court today
Police say the suspect, Kofi Sasa turned himself in after a viral video showed the grey Mercedes Benz which was hitherto stationary on the hatch marks on the road drift dangerously across lanes.
The 28-year-old driver of a Mercedes Benz who was arrested after driving recklessly at the Airport junction traffic light is expected to appear in court today, Monday, October 25, 2021.
Police say the suspect, Kofi Sasa turned himself in after a viral video showed the grey Mercedes Benz which was hitherto stationary on the hatch marks on the road drift dangerously across lanes.
The video showed that the car revved into the middle of the four-lane road before spinning dangerously in the face of cars lined in traffic and eventually sped off while the traffic light stayed at red.
After turning himself in with some relatives, the suspect was detained until processes for him to be arraigned were completed.
