What Dr. Michael Kpessa-Whyte, the 2nd Witness of the Petitioner, will be saying in court
In his witness statement, Dr. Michael Kpessa-Whyte states that he was in the strongroom during the collation of the election results and noticed some irregularities which he brought to the attention of John Mahama and Mrs Jean Mensa who assured them that she will hold on to the declaration of the results until all concerns were redressed
The Petitioner has presented Dr. Michael Kpessa-Whyte as his 2nd Witness.
In his witness statement, Dr. Michael Kpessa-Whyte states that he was in the strongroom during the collation of the election results and noticed some irregularities which he brought to the attention of John Mahama and Mrs Jean Mensa who assured them that she will hold on to the declaration of the results until all concerns were redressed. He therefore refused to certify the summary sheets. He claims that immediately they left the strongroom, he heard Mrs Mensa on radio, declaring Nana Addo as president-elect. This he claims is unconstitutional conduct and does not reflect the true will of the people of Ghana. In support of his averments, he attached the following as evidence:
