Venues, additional information for 2022 GSL Entrance Examination
Candidates are requested to arrive by 7: 00 am to undergo pre-examination processes including COVID-19 preventive protocols.
The 2022 Ghana School of Law entrance examination, which is scheduled to take place on Friday, September 23, 2022, will be written at the following venues;
WAEC Heights, Adjacent to the Chinese Embassy at the Airport Residential Area, Accra
Central Cafeteria, University of Ghana, Legon
Legon Special Needs Centre, University of Ghana.
Candidates are therefore requested to arrive by 7: 00 am to undergo pre-examination processes including COVID-19 preventive protocols.
Further to the above, candidates are to come to the examination venue with a valid National Photo ID card for identification.
Candidates are additionally to take note of the following;
Personal Effects are not allowed at the venues
Smartwatches are not allowed in the examination room
Applicants are advised not to bring any valuables to the examination venue
Examination Details
It will be for 90 minutes and will comprise two compulsory questions selected from the six(6) basic subjects required prior to admission to the Ghana School of Law;

Who is eligible to sit for the exams?
1. Persons who have obtained a Bachelor of Law degree from Faculties of Law of Universities in Ghana accredited by the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission and approved by the General Legal Council
2. Ghanaian holders of Bachelor of Law degrees or equivalent Law degrees from Universities in the United Kingdom, Canada, United States of America, and other common law jurisdictions, and who have obtained passes in all the courses;

Admission procedure
1. The number of students to be admitted is determined by the General Legal Council for the academic year
2. Applicants may be admitted if they pass the written examination organized by the IEC for this year’s admission upon paying the required fee and submitting supporting documents required online.
3. Only eligible applicants who attain the minimum threshold mark set by the General Legal Council for the 2022/2023 academic year will be offered admission for the year in question to pursue the Professional Law course.
