Two senior fire officers, juniors dismissed over indiscipline, recruitment fraud
The 11 officers are said to have been stationed in various districts and commands across the country.
The Management of the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) says it has dismissed two senior fire officers and nine junior officers over acts of indiscipline and recruitment fraud.
This is according to a statement dated August 5, 2022, and signed by T. Osafo-Affum, the Public Relations Officer of GNFS.
Although the statement didn't give the names of the dismissed persons, it stated that the 11 were officers stationed in various districts and commands across the country.
“The dismissed officers were involved in various acts of indiscipline ranging from vacation of post, to recruitment fraud.
The Management would also like to encourage the General Public to report any acts of indiscipline against any personnel of the Service or call the Public Relations Department on 0299341436 for any enquires clarifications or complaints,” the statement noted.
