The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has officially barred two former students, Ransford Fosu-Boateng — also known as "Scammer Baby" — and Raphael Appiah Owusu, from entering its campus due to repeated misconduct and actions deemed a threat to safety and order.

In a statement issued by the Office of the Registrar, the university revealed that Fosu-Boateng was expelled on March 21, 2022, while Owusu’s dismissal became effective at the close of the 2023/2024 academic year. Despite their expulsion, both individuals reportedly continued to trespass on university grounds, where they allegedly disrupted campus life, violated disciplinary codes, and intimidated students.

Their latest involvement in an unauthorized gathering, which escalated into vandalism and damage to school property — all captured on CCTV — prompted the university to take decisive action.

KNUST has declared both individuals persona non grata, stressing that they are no longer affiliated with the institution and are prohibited from accessing any part of the campus. The statement noted that if either is found on university premises, they will be treated as trespassers.

Additionally, the university has cautioned current students against any association with the former students. Anyone found assisting or granting them access to campus facilities will face strict disciplinary consequences.

Signed by Dr. Daniel Norris Bekoe, Deputy Registrar of the University Relations Office, the statement reaffirmed KNUST’s unwavering commitment to preserving a secure and conducive academic environment for its community.
