Thievery at Takoradi Harbour District Court: Several items stolen

Items including electrical gadgets and administrative items have been stolen from the Takoradi Harbour District Court.

On Monday, July 6, 2021, staff of the court reported to work only to find out some items had been stolen from the offices.

In all, computer accessories, electronic gadgets, and other things were stolen from the court.

Checks by staff revealed that the ‘thieves’ might have entered the courtroom through a wire net attached at a back window on the top floor of the building.

Furthermore, workers discovered the supposed footprints of the thieves on the floors of the room.

The registrar of the court was however not available to make any official statement about the incident to the press.

Meanwhile, the thievery has kept persons who went to the court and residents wondering about the level of confidence and ‘swaggering’ by the thieves knowing the consequences of such acts.
