Stonebwoy billed to perform for lawyers at Ho
The 2022 Bar Conference, which is scheduled to be held at Ho, will be on the theme; ‘Ghana’s Democracy under the 4th Republic: Gains, Challenges and prospects”
Ghanaian Dancehall artist, Livingstone Etse Satekla popularly called Stonebwoy is billed to perform for lawyers on Thursday, September 15, 2022, at the Jubilee Park at Ho.
This will be the climax of the number of entertainment and relaxing events lined up for lawyers at this year’s Bar Conference.
“Every evening, after every session, we are also going to be treated to a social event just to allow members to wind down and also relax.
“They say all work and no play make Jack a dull boy so just as we’ve lined up a number of social activities for almost every evening, the biggest one is on Thursday night which is going to be a program that will be hosted at the Jubilee Park at Ho and the big thing is that Stonebwoy is the one who is going to be live there and treat lawyers to some good music to relax us for the conference."
The 2022 Bar Conference, which is scheduled to be held at Ho, will be on the theme; ‘Ghana’s Democracy under the 4th Republic: Gains, Challenges and prospects” and will as usual have in attendance, the President of the Republic; Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo, the Attorney General, Chief Justice, Bar President and a host of others.
In an interview with Dennislaw News, the National Secretary of the Association, Mr. Kwaku Gyau Baffour, noted that this year’s conference will only have plenary sessions for the various talks and lectures.
The 2022 Bar Conference
The Conference takes place from 11th September to Friday, September 16, 2022.
Members are expected to arrive on Sunday, September 11, 2022, and are expected to be treated to a ‘woezor’ night at Chances Hotel.
There will be two venues; The opening ceremony will take place at the G.M. Afeti Hall Auditorium in the Ho Technical University then the Plenary sessions at the Volta Serene Hotel.
On Monday, September 12, there will be the opening ceremony which will be addressed by the President of the Republic of Ghana.
In the evening, all lawyers will converge at the residence of the Regional Minister to be treated to some social event.
After the opening ceremony, the next day will have the CLA session, which is done annually to help develop lawyers' professional careers on well-chosen topics. This year's will be done in the plenary.
On Wednesday night, there will be the usual dinner dance which will be held at the Volta Serene Hotel.
There will also be a health screening of lawyers which will commence on Monday and will be climaxed with a talk by the Health professionals on proper Health lifestyles.
Thursday morning will see lawyers going on tours to a number of tourist sites including the famous Mountain Afadja, selected waterfalls, Monkey Sanctuary, and the Snake farm.
On Friday, members will be treated to a food Bazaar which will start at 7 am before their departure.
The GBA is therefore entreating all lawyers, especially the young ones to be at this year’s conference.
