The Ghana Police Service has initiated a manhunt for individuals accused of attacking a private collation center associated with the New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary candidate for Okaikwei North Constituency in Akweteyman, Accra.

The incident resulted in significant damage to collation materials and left one person injured.

In an official statement, the police revealed that their investigation, supported by information from a victim, has led to the identification of two suspects, Ryan Gbagbathi and Huzaif, believed to be part of the group responsible for the attack.

The police assured the public of their continued efforts to apprehend the suspects and ensure they were brought to justice.

“We encourage the public to remain calm as we work diligently to bring the suspects to justice,” the statement emphasized.

The police also reiterated their dedication to maintaining peace and security throughout the election period and beyond.
