A plumber, Felix Agbenyega has been sentenced to a prison term of five years by the Adentan Circuit Court for unlawful entry and stealing.
He is said to have broken into a victim’s home, to steal a 55-inch Panasonic flat screen television, valued at GHC 3000.00
Charged with unlawful entry and stealing, he pleaded guilty and was sentenced on his own plea.
According to the Prosecution led by Chief Inspector Maxwell Lanyo, the complainant and victim, Justice Ababio said he received a call from a neighbour that someone was spotted climbing his fenced wall with a TV set in hand.
The accused was later apprehended by a security guard who shared the same fence with the victim.
At the Police station at Madina, the accused is said to have also admitted to the crime in his caution statement.
