Meet the youngest High Court Justice: Ellen Lordina Serwaa Mireku(J )

She joined the bench in May 2014 as a magistrate and was promoted in August 2016 to the Circuit Court.

Twenty-one (21) new High Court Justices were today sworn in.

Among them were 15 judges who rose from the Circuit Court which includes Ellen Lordina Serwaa Mireku(J) who becomes the youngest High Court Justice.

The other six (6) were legal practitioners.

About Justice Serwaa Mireku

She joined the bench in May 2014 as a magistrate and was promoted in August 2016 to the Circuit Court. Justice Mireku had a smooth transition at both levels under the tenure of a female Chief Justice. 

The other new High Court Justices as sworn in today are; Justice Kwame Polley, Justice William Appiah Twumasi, Justice Forson Agyapong Baah, Justice Marian Affoh, Justice Nana Brew, Justice Abena Amponsah Buansi, Justice Priscilla Dapaah Mireku, Justice Alexander Oworae, and Justice Joyce Boahen.

Others are; Justice Edward Twum, Justice Gwendolyn Millicent Owusu, Justice Rosemary Baah Tosu, Justice Frederick Kwabena Twumasi, and Justice Adelaide Abui Keddey.

Additionally, Justice Kenneth Edem Kudjordjie, Justice Harry Achjeampong-Opoku, Justice John-Mark Nuku Alifo, Justice Kwasi Adjenim-Boateng, Justice George Aikins Ampiah-Bonney and finally, Justice Marie-Louise Simmons who are lawyers.
