President John Mahama will on Tuesday, 16 December 2025, receive the final report and recommendations on the mediation of the Bawku conflict from the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.
According to a statement issued on Tuesday, 9 December by the Minister of Government Communication, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, the ceremony is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. at the Presidency.
The document represents the outcome of several months of mediation work spearheaded by the Asantehene, whose involvement has been central to the wider national reconciliation effort aimed at addressing the protracted tensions in Bawku and its environs.
Government officials say the report and its recommendations will serve as a key reference point for the next phase of state action, as authorities move to translate the mediation outcomes into concrete measures for lasting peace and stability in Bawku.
