The by-election, which took place on September 2, 2025, was conducted across 119 polling centres. Voter turnout stood at just over 33,000, falling short of the expected 50,000 registered voters.

Voting began promptly at 7:00 a.m. and proceeded without major incidents. The Electoral Commission confirmed that all polling centres opened on time and had sufficient voting materials.
