Kobby Amoah endorses J.B. Afrifa, says he is best choice for Young Lawyers’ Forum presidency

Emmanuel Kobby Amoah, former SRC President of the Ghana School of Law, has thrown his support behind J.B. Afrifa’s bid to become President of the Young Lawyers’ Forum of the Ghana Bar Association.
Mr Amoah, who is also a lecturer at Ashesi University and a former aspirant for the same position, made the endorsement at J.B. Afrifa’s Policy Launch and Vision Dialogue.
He described J.B. Afrifa as a candidate with the vision, competence and commitment required to address the pressing concerns of young lawyers and reposition the Forum as a stronger voice within the legal profession.
According to him, J.B. Afrifa’s policy agenda reflects a practical understanding of the needs of young practitioners, especially in the areas of welfare, mentorship, professional growth, technology and inclusivity.
Mr Amoah said the future of the legal profession would depend heavily on innovation, collaboration and deliberate investment in young lawyers.
He noted that J.B. Afrifa’s leadership would help create more opportunities for young lawyers, amplify their voices and equip them to thrive in a fast-changing legal environment.
He further stated that J.B. Afrifa’s vision for a stronger, more innovative and inclusive Future Bar makes him the best candidate to lead the Young Lawyers’ Forum.
Mr Amoah has therefore called on young lawyers across the country to support J.B. Afrifa’s campaign and rally behind his agenda for a more responsive and forward-looking Forum.
