Kelvyn Boy granted GH¢200k bail
He was remanded on Monday, February 22, 2022, after he pleaded not guilty to a charge of assault of his girlfriend.
The Adentan Circuit Court has granted Afrobeat singer, Kelvyn Boy GH¢200, 000 bail.

According to the prosecutor, Chief Superintendent of Police Patience Mario, the complainant, Deborah Kponyi, a trader accused the musician whom he had 2 daughters with and had been with for more than 10 years of stamping and allegedly attacking her.
She further indicated that the accused and complainant used to stay together but separated.
It followed that one of their children fell sick and the complainant visited a savings and loans company where they saved to get money but found out that the account had been emptied.
The complainant thus tried to reach the accused but to no avail so followed a car supposed to be for the accused but realized was being driven by a lady.
After asking of the whereabouts of the accused from the lady. It was then thst the accused came down and allegedly attacked the complainant and pushed her down and out of the house after hitting her with iron rod.
Moreover, the prosecutor indicates that the accused later visited the complainant’s shop and allegedly made away with some items valued at GH¢5,500.
Appearing in the court on Tuesday, February 23, 2022, the presiding judge, Sedinam Awo Balokah granted the artist bail with two sureties.
The case has meanwhile been adjourned to March 18, 2022.
