Julius Debrah heads Mahama’s transition team
The 2024 Transition Team will work collaboratively with representatives of the outgoing administration to ensure an efficient and seamless transfer of power.

Ghana’s president-elect, John Dramani Mahama, has announced a team of seasoned professionals to oversee the transition process in line with the Presidential (Transition) Act, 2012 (ACT 845).
The 2024 Transition Team will work collaboratively with representatives of the outgoing administration to ensure an efficient and seamless transfer of power.
The team comprises experts from diverse fields, including finance, governance, and public administration, reflecting a broad range of experience and knowledge.
Co-Chaired by Hon. Julius Debrah, the team includes notable figures such as:
- Hon. Johnson Asiedu Nketia
- Hon. Fifi Fiavi Kwetey
- Dr. Callistus Mahama (Member/Secretary)
- Dr. Valerie Sawyer
- Prof. Kwamena Ahwoi
- Hon. Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson
- Hon. Mahama Ayariga
- Hon. Goosie Tanoh
- Dr. Edward Omane Boamah
Additionally, Rt. Hon. Edward Doe Adjaho has been appointed as a member of the Transitional Advisory Council, further strengthening the team’s capacity to ensure a smooth handover.
