The Judicial Service of Ghana has announced the indefinite postponement of the swearing-in ceremony for newly appointed High Court judges, which had been slated for Thursday, October 9, 2025, at the Jubilee House.

In a circular issued by the Judicial Secretary, Musah Ahmed, the Service attributed the decision to “unforeseen circumstances”, noting that a new date will be communicated in due course.

The notice, which was copied to the Acting Chief Justice, the Attorney-General and Minister for Justice, the Secretary to the President, and members of the Judicial Council, expressed the Service’s apologies for the postponement.

The Judicial Service reaffirmed its appreciation to all officials and judges affected by the schedule change, assuring them that arrangements for the rescheduled ceremony would be communicated promptly.
