Isaac Owusu Bempah, four others to answer fresh charges
On September 20, 2021, an Accra High Court granted bail to Rev. Owusu Bempah and the three others. They were granted bail of GH¢200,000 with two sureties.
Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah, leader of Glorious Word and Power Ministries International and four of his members will appear before an Accra Circuit Court today, Tuesday October 5, 2021 to answer fresh charges.
Prosecution had told the court that the Police should be given a week for the facts and charges brought against Owusu Bempah and four others to be amended.
Bright Berchie, a supposed aide to Rev. Owusu Bempah was arrested September 29, by the Police and has been additionally charged with possession of firearms without lawful authority.
Rev. Owusu Bempah and three other accomplices, Mensah were charged with offensive conduct to the breaches of peace. They were also charged with threat of death and assault on public officers.
