A leading member of the Movement for Change, Me Hopeson Adorye, has been presented before the Dansoman Circuit Court and granted bail of GHC 20,000 with two sureties.

Mr. Adorye was arrested on Wednesday, May 22, after making a statement on an Accra-based station to the effect that he was involved in the detonation of some dynamite in parts of the Volta Region prior to the 2016 General Elections.

Earlier, the presidential candidate for the Alliance for Revolutionary Change, Mr. Alan Kyeremanteng, visited Hopeson in custody ahead of his appearance in court.

Mr Kyeremanteng was accompanied by  Boniface Abubakari Saddique, Yaw Buabeng Asamoah, Kofi Kapito, Alhaji Haruna Tafsiru Warlord, Ken Kuranchie, and other members of the Movement for Change.
