GSL Muslim Students’ Association pays courtesy call on National Chief Imam
The delegation was led by the Association's president, Abdul Razak, and the vice president, Sharifa Adams.
The Ghana School of Law Muslim Students’ Association (GSL-MSA) on Tuesday paid a courtesy call on the Office of the National Chief Imam to introduce the association and seek his blessings formally.
The delegation was led by the Association's president, Abdul Razak, and the vice president, Sharifa Adams. It included Muslim students from both Part One and Part Two of the Ghana School of Law.
During the visit, the Association expressed profound gratitude to the Office of the National Chief Imam for honoring its invitation to the 2025 Iftar held at the Ghana School of Law. The leadership of the GSL-MSA also commended the National Chief Imam for his longstanding contributions to peace, religious tolerance, and national development in Ghana.
In response, the National Chief Imam, His Eminence Dr. Osman Nuhu Sharubutu, warmly welcomed the delegation and expressed appreciation for the visit. He offered prayers for the students, asking for divine guidance, wisdom, and success in their academic and professional journeys.
As part of the visit, the GSL-MSA presented a citation to the National Chief Imam in recognition of his exemplary leadership, humility, and unwavering commitment to promoting peaceful coexistence among people of different faiths in Ghana.
The visit reaffirmed the Association’s commitment to faith-based engagement, leadership, and service, as well as its dedication to fostering unity within the Ghana School of Law and the wider Ghanaian society.
