Greater Accra Bar to hold Orientation, Fireside chat for newly enrolled lawyers Nov 4

The Greater Accra Regional Bar Association is set to welcome newly enrolled lawyers to an enlightening Orientation & Fireside Chat on Tuesday, 4th November 2025, at Wesley Towers, Accra, starting promptly at 4:30 p.m.
This exclusive engagement forms part of the Bar’s continuing effort to nurture a new generation of ethical, purpose-driven, and business-ready lawyers.
Attendees will gain practical insights from distinguished leaders of the Bar who have shaped practice across multiple legal frontiers, including litigation, corporate law, public service, and academia.
Speakers billed for the program are Madam Efua Ghartey, President of the Ghana Bar Association; Thaddeus Sory, Founding Partner, Sory & Partners @ Law; Seth Asante, Managing Partner, Bentsi-Enchill, Letsa & Ankomah; Yvonne Atakora Obuobisa, Director of Public Prosecutions, Office of the Attorney General; Hannah Agbozo, Associate General Counsel, Tullow Ghana Ltd.
Others are Edmund Amarkwei Foley, Executive Director, Legal Aid Commission; Dr. Kwaku Agyeman-Budu, Dean, GIMPA Law School; and Gloria Ofori-Boadu, President, FIDA Ghana.

The Association is thus appealing to Heads of Departments and Heads of Chambers to encourage and release their newly enrolled lawyers to attend and fully engage with the program.
