A Ghanaian tech innovator, Benjamin Etrue, has developed a groundbreaking mobile application that transforms ordinary documents into interactive quiz games to make learning more enjoyable and engaging.

The app, named Qai, uses artificial intelligence to convert uploaded text into trivia-style questions, helping users revise and retain information across subjects like science, history, religion, and general knowledge. With many young learners struggling to stay focused using traditional study methods, Qai introduces a fun, game-like approach to education.

Users can simply upload a document, and the app instantly generates personalized quizzes suited to different educational levels. The result is a dynamic learning tool that encourages independent study, sharpens recall, and builds critical thinking skills.

Beyond personal learning, Etrue sees Qai as a powerful supplement to classroom instruction. “It’s a tool that can boost engagement, encourage curiosity, and transform how students learn,” he added.

The innovation has already earned international recognition. Qai was recently named one of 12 global finalists in the 2025 Create Apps Championship, a global contest organized by the Dubai Chamber of Commerce. Out of over 4,700 applicants from 132 countries, the app stood out for its creativity and potential.

Looking ahead, Etrue plans to expand Qai’s capabilities to include local language options, curriculum-aligned content, and a competitive leaderboard feature for schools and individuals.
